Cola - or the coke replacement!

Cause they don't even use cane sugar anymore, sugar based drinks use corn syrup so they taste like crap. Coke Zero tastes better because artificial sweeteners taste better than corn syrup
Most drinks in the UK use sugar, but less than they used to due to a sugar tax. They moved to using artificial sweeteners but very few in the UK and Europe use High Fructose Corn Syrup like they do in the States.

It took me a long time, but I've decided out of the sugar free I prefer Pepsi Max to Coke Zero/Diet Coke. And particularly Pepsi Max cherry.

I think for full fat version original Coca cola is the best.

I mean, I don't have fizzy drinks much anyway, and mostly to mix with cheap whisky if I do, so if I can get hold of it, any supermarket own sugar free one is fine.

So, I don’t drink much Coca-Cola, but I do enjoy it now and then as a treat — maybe once or twice a week, and always the full-sugar version.
You don't drink much Coke, but then say once or twice a week?

I used to love an ice cold coke, often. But my weight and teeth suffered. I've recently switched to Diet Coke and it does not taste anywhere near as good as full fat and as someone mentioned, horrid aftertaste.

I drink Diet Coke now, but i think it's because i have become used to it, much akin to weening yourself off sugar in tea/coffee!

As for cherry flavours - rank. Hate anything cherry.

I've converted to Pepsi Max Cherry as my preferred carbonated soft drink, my means of obtaining caffeine when it's too hot for coffee :P

I don't know anyone can guzzle sugary drinks. It's like drinking diabetes.

Cherry Coke Zero or Vanilla Coke Zero are my go to. Used to be able to get 24 cans for £8 from Asda. When in the US I am partial to a Cherry Dr Pepper.

Full fat drinks have a hideous syrupy aftertaste. Diet and Zero versions are better, particularly from heavily chilled cans.

That’s how I feel about full fat versions, they taste syrupy and they make my teeth feel fury afterwards. I normally drink caffeine free versions of Coke zero or Pepsi Max

I only like Coke with a load of whisky in it. Full fat taste the best but any will do in a pinch. I do prefer whisky neat but when out the good stuffs too expensive and it doesn't last long neat.

The Tesco knock off of Coke Zero, fantastic ice lemon zero and Fanta fruit twist zero are all pretty good.

The Lidl versions of Fanta zero are also decent.
The Tesco Cherry Coke Zero is a bit naff (too rosey) but I still drink it. Their new lemon and fruit twist zeros are nice though.

The Vive cola was the best Pesi Max-esque cola that I've come across, wouldn't mind a cherry version, but don't think they do one.

Proper Coke is one of the very few that hasn't been spoilt by 'fatty greedy bloater kids anti-sugar regulation' so it still has sugar in it. Their Cherry Coke still does too, so still good to enjoy before it's no doubt ruined further down the line.

Probably biased because of my background but I switched long ago to Green Cola. It tastes better and doesn’t have any rubbish in it.

Last week, I was in Aldi and picked up some Vive Cola, expecting it to taste awful.

I've drank it for many years after my wife tricked me.
She asked me if I was enjoying my coke which I drank out of bottles at the time so I said "Yeah why?".
She said for the last 2 weeks I've been putting ALDI Rola Cola in it :)

The top shelf is mine and called the Magic Shelf because amazingly it's always full.
Second shelf are both my daughters coke because they are spoilt.
