Switched computer on from cold boot, first problem was that the moniter wasn't getting a signal, so I check the cables and everything is fitted properly. I turn the computer off using the power switch and the rebooted this time to get a different result.

Can't remember the messag, but the message was something like "Overclock isn't working properly, would you like to enter bios?" I put everything back to default settings after this everything worked properly again.

extra information:
Motherboard - Rampage Extreme x48
CPU - E8500
GPU - XFX 275

This happens when the PC fails to initiate the graphics card. If your PC has a reset button try using that instead of the main power button. If your Overclock failed, enter the BIOS, find where your O/C setting profile is saved, load it up and save & exit the BIOS. The PC will reboot with your O/C profile running.
