Cold Cathode Installation?

hi there, im having some trouble connecting my new cold cathode lights to my power supply.

i have some pictures to show what i have setup (ignore the crappy site i made just check out the pics lol)

Also do i need this and where do i put it?

so, shouldnt this light work connected to psu? i checked all the switches are on

if udidnt know from the pictures im using the CM GX 750w PSU, Asus Maximus iv Extrmee-z mobo and lamptron 30cm Caths

if someone could show me a guide or what else is required to make these light operate i would be so happy

That's the floppy drive power connector.

I'm not seeing a CPU in the socket. I don't think it'll power up the 12v without a CPU fitted. I've never tried though as that would be silly.

Jump start the PSU by disconnecting all power connectors from the motherboard. Locate the 24 way connector and jump the green wire to a black wire in the same connector. Jump using a bit of wire or a paperclip or something. This will send a pulse to the PSU and get it to start up.

Funny though I'm sure this was already answered a couple of days ago when someone else wanted something testing without bothering to fit a CPU.
