I just bought some Cold Cathode tubes (purple) from another place and discovered that they don't have anything to fix them into my case. I was thinking something adhesive on both sides would suit the job (when I've bought them previously they came with useless sticky-backed velcro).

Can anyone recommend something to fix the cathodes and invertor to the case (Antec 300)?

Haha! It can stand for something else too.

No double sided pads came with it unfortunately. I'd prefer a pad to tape becaue it can dampen the vibration. Was thinging of just glue-gunning but then realised I'd probably end up with strings of glue in my components.

Double sided tape on each end would work fine, and when i used that i did not encounter any problems vibration wise and it was actually stronger than the adhesive pad which came with it. Or you can use cable tie bases and cable ties to hold it in position. Both work fine.

I was going to do that but I don't have any anchor points and I'd also be worried about vibration.

I can't see many mounting points in the antec 300 on my desk at all, basically looks like you'd have to rely on sticky pads and hope they dont fail, if you are looking at the front, the options there seem very limited unless they would somehow slip behind the plastic case front

The velcro actually worked great on mine. But tbh, I used 3m velcro stuff that I already had as opposed to what it came with. You can't even see my cathodes. What I do like about the velcro is the easy on/off.
