Hi,

I will be building a new system soon with a lancool pc-k62 dragonlord case.

I have seen the following video on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhB9t2cfEaA) with some cold cathode neons that are sensitive to music/sound

My question is, does anyone have experience with these and if so, where is the best place to get them from and how easy is it to set them up??

Many Thanks;)

Have a look at the Sunbeam Sound Module, I have one that I never use any more but its perfect. You can plug 2 lots of cathodes, For a maximum of 4 and change them between on, off, Pulsing and sound reactive.

Can't find anywhere that still sells them though.

You're certainly right about not being able to find somewhere that sells them! Do you/anyone else have any other ideas/products that I WOULD be able to buy?

If you go to Google, Search sound reactive cathodes and go to shopping results, You'll find a couple of results.

I think nowhere stocks them as not many people want them. I find them a bit vulgar and over the top, Not to mention annoying.

Yeah thats true, but you CAN switch them off if you dont want them pulsing or whatever. But I will have a look thanks :)

You'll want to remove the link, No naming competitors mate ;)

As far as I know they're pretty good though.

I have removed it, nothing like a bit of healthy compeition though ;)

I was going to get some green cathodes to go with the blue of the lancool case im getting, and i figured that I may as well get some that would jazz it up a bit when and if I wanted them to pulse etc.
