Cold Cathode UV's

Hi all,

I am in need of a cold cathode UV tube that is longer than 30cm (which is all I can find at the moment), 40cm to be precise. Anyone know where I can get one of these, or if they even exist.

nope, they arent something that can be manufactured in lots of different lengths, think of it like a light-bulb, you cant specify a specific length

well, they seem to come in 10, 20 and 30cm, thought there might be a 40cm but apparently not, cheers anyway

this but only thing to consider are the inverters?

Why?
I went through a phaze of using CCTubes in my PCs for a while and they often had dual tubes on one inverter!
Especially the 4" ones... They all came in dual.

Even so, even when I setup my CCM with UV junk, I had 6 inverters driving 10 tubes ( 4" and 12" and you could not see the tubesa or inverters so I must have been doing somethign right and it lit up the UV bits a treat.

Of course I have grown up now and I no longer do anything as childish as that anymore, so ner ner nerner ner.

Do a quick google and you'll find some places do, actually do 40cm/15" kits
