Cold weather helping the computer

Mines pretty cold since we moved in too. Used to run ~28 degrees at my mums, now its at 18 degrees, 20 maybe under heavy load. And I've turned my case fans down to save power + reduce noise.

20 under heavy load i find that hard to believe sorry!

He had 5 tabs open on his browser. LOL @ 20c on heavy load.

Couple of minutes after a heaven run.

It's now back to those min idle temps.

I'd love to know what cpu and cooling combo is hitting 20 under load

My guess is liquid nitrogen on the CPU and for 8C in the case in a 16C room - that room's a wind tunnel!

In this day and age of the modern processor, does it really matter about temps, really!

Mine is 4.3GHz but 39 degrees - I think the last time I looked at the temp was when I saw this thread for the first time

My compy is 39 degrees whether it's the summer or the winter.

I have the same scenario. Whenever I check the CPU temp, it always reads 40 ± 2c.

It's a sign of good airflow and compy placement I say!

Room temp is about 18c. Definitely seeing a difference with the lower temps, only at stock volts though. (3570k @ 4.4GHz)

I lose about 5c to 8c in temps in winter.
