With the below zero weather we have been having, my MPG has taken some-what of a hammering; I've lost about 7ish MPG.

What is everyone experiencing?

No real difference. I lose about 1-2mpg in the winter over the summer. My driving is short distances from cold.

22ish average in summer, 20ish in winter.

Mines dropped a fair bit actually, around 10% (was averaging 31mpg now down to around 28mpg), That's a couple of 30 mile journeys every work day, with the very occasional short trip within the city at the weekend.

Comparing changes in mpg (between people) is always flawed.

Better to look at change in l per 100km or a similar measurement.

Reason being the latter is linear.

Averaging about 35mpg since November compared to about 38mpg over the summer months (E90 330d auto). I changed tyres since then and it's probably down to the need for a service too.

Pretty big drop for me, but then I have a habit of running the heated seat and heater for most of my journey as most of my trips are pretty short.

Minimum seems to be 30mpg for me, during the summer it was 34-35mpg. So yeah, pretty big drop.

I'd probably get a higher reading if I left a little earlier for work and cruised at a consistent speed! It's usually 70-80.

Getting 33 mpg in my diesel Megane. I imagine it's more to do with me never letting the engine heat up rather than the cold weather though.

Hardly worth the bother of that engine surely?

I agree, but it's a company car. If I made a fuss, I could maybe switch to a petrol Clio. But then I'd be driving a Clio.

All these figures seem to be about 10%. Funny how the diesel drivers where 10% equates to 4 or 5 mpg think its a big drop but the petrol drivers don't, where the difference equates to 2mpg

Diesels definitely take a hit in cold weather. My 330d did, and my A4 does. I'm currently struggling to get 50MPG on a run that would typically net me over 60.

All depends on your heating etc, heated seats, window heating, 27C heater setting to auto etc... for me, not really noticed any difference still around 17mpg
