hi guys...

bought DiRT yesterday and today i clambered up the loft to get my logitech momo racing force wheel... set it all up and ready to go... gave it about an hour and half of my time and decided thats all its gonna get...

what a letdown! anyone else feel the same? i thought the steering response was aweful, the fact that 4x4s would get stopped dead and heavily damaged by stones on the side of the road that my nan could pick up, and a general sloppy feel to the driving all made the momo go straight back up the loft, which is where it'll stay until this new race07 game comes out or when they fix the ghostcar in live for speed :) (fave all-time racing game but stopped playing when the ghost broke :()

what dya think?

i actually think i could control the novelty desert vehicles in Jak 3 on the PS2 better :p

I'm gonna stick to sims, arcade style's rarely do it for me anyway (but i did love gran turismo 4 and toca 3 wasn't half bad) - live for speed really is the daddy, if only they could get funding and licencing to merge all that fantastic physics with some top end graphics and car models - there simply would be nothing that could compete :) (oh and like i said they would also have to fix the ghost mod :p)
