Collect All Files By Type App?

Hi. I'm looking to create a repository of all the perl files I have located across multiple directorys. Anyone know of an app or command that can for files of a certain filetype and copy them into a single location?

Just do a search on My Computer for all *.perl files and copy/move them to wherever?

Tried that. I get a 'Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk' message.
