I had a bit of a rocky time with uni courses and degrees. I didn't do terribly well in my A-Levels and as such went to uni on a Foundation Year doing Computing.
I passed the Foundation Year and was granted onto a HND Course (Computer Forensics and Security), absolutely hated it. Boring, way too much work and just generally wasn't enjoying it. Have now gone to a local college to do a Foundation Degree in Applied Computing which i am thoroughly enjoying. A Foundation Degree is the same level as a HND just a bit more practical based.
Only downside for me is that i have got to do it for 3 years part time due to Student Finance not giving me one more year of full-time funding.![]()
Was just about to ask if anyone else was doing Applied Computing. In my second year. Really don't like it but might as well get the second year out of the way before moving on.
