Cologne Visit

Apart from that I cant remember much else few walks in town old cathedral etc I didnt go anywhere off beaten track as such, remember it being hellish warm though.
 
It's not a great tourist city tbh. The old town is pretty lame. The Dom is impressive no doubt but there's not a lot else.

I'd take the train to Düsseldorf personally but I'm biased as I used to live there :P

Going for an esports event so that will take up most of the time, just looking for some filler stuff :)

Would love to get info on the best techno clubs but don’t think ocuk is the vibe for that :cry:
 
I've been twice many years ago for the Xmas Markets. Couldn't tell you too much about the city apart from where the markets are & both trips were at weekends.
Only thing I can suggest is book a boat trip down the Rhine to Koblenz, There's bound to be wine tasting thrown in as well.

It got razed to ground by the RAF, so not much left of the old town

Salon Des Amateurs and Golzheim, both in Düsseldorf :P

Didn't go clubbing much in Cologne, but why would you? The best club in the world ( Salon Des Amateurs ) is in the dorf.

I'm sure there's good clubs in Cologne, bigger city, more venues.
