Colour banding on water in HL2?? 7800GT, Dell 2005FPW

Click on thumbnail and you will see the vertical banding in the circled portions.

Only happens in the distance.

Pretty sure it wasn't there on my old X800 XTPE.

Is this a known issue or something?

Using 83.40's

is your AF on high enough? try using the latest drivers...

Just bumping this back up if thats ok.

Still no just sorting this out.

Tried various in game and Nvidia settings to no avail.

Are you running in the native res of your monitor? I used to use a 17" TFT and if I ran the game at 1024x768 instead of 1280x1024 this happened. Worth double checking!

Dont worry its the under water dragon boss's shadow just sprint throught that section and it shouldnt appear again
