I'm just about to get myself a pair of new monitors and I am thinking about colour calibration devices. How much of a difference am I going to see from a £50 - £80 device to a £150 - £200 device? Am I going to see any difference at all? Are there really levels of "correctness" that make some devices worth more?

After buying 2 monitors, I am hoping that I am going to get good results with even a low end calibration unit.

something like the X-rite i1 Display 2 will offer you a very good hardware device, and can bring you excellent results even with the free software from Gretag. It comes at a cost though. There are some lower priced devices, the Spyder series tend to struggle in my experience, but the Pantone Huey is pretty decent. see all my colorimeter reviews here btw.
