I remember having this problem back when I was shooting RAW with my Canon 20D. Since moving to using the Olympus, shooting in their RAW format (ORF), I'm having the same problem and I can't for the life of me, remember how I once solved it...
Basically:
The left is what I see in Lightroom/Photoshop, the right is what I get when saving/uploading it as JPEG/PNG (and I can assuem, the same dull colours when printed)
All my RAW images in Lightroom are in 16bit, imported with RGB colour mode. When I edit in lightroom/photoshop, I'd export it as JPEG by adjusting the colour mode to 8bit (otherwise no JPEG option under Save As).
I encounter it as a major problem such as above when I use presets I've found on Lightroom sites; it seems to require Pro RGB, otherwise you'll get a dull coloured image. Any way to get around it so I can upload what I see on my screen, correctly onto sites like dART/Flickr e.t.c.?
Cheers.
