Evening fellas.

Not very often that I venture into here, anyway I wonder if you can help?

I have an OKI C5650 which I use for printing acrylic number plates, as of late the printer has been printing the black bits quite faded and leaving lines where it should be printing.

Plenty of toner in the machine, is it needing a new drum or a new fuser or could it be something else?

Thanks

it wont be the fuser more than likely drum, stop print before paper enters fuser, just open door then check image on drum if its poor thats your answer. is the lines black or lines of image missing.
try printing off an image in single solid toner colours CMYK to narrow fault

It's only the black, took it apart today to find a small piece of plastic stuck in it.

Hopefully that's fixed it!

We don't print onto paper just acrylic, but I printed a detailed full colour picture straight after cleaning and the picture quality was great with no lines missing.

Thanks
