Hi, I was thinking about a 3D system for gaming but i'm red/green colourblind.
I was wondering if there are any other red/green colourblind people that could tell me if they are able to see 3D games correctly?
Any help would be much appreciated :)

3d setups such as the nvidia kit don't use anaglyph (i.e. red green) glasses, they use shutters to alternate the full colour image been displayed to each eye. So in summary, yes you can see 3d games correctly (unless you have other optical issues like an overly dominant eye or something)

I don't think any 3D uses red/green these days anyway. It would be red/blue (cyan), but yeah the new 3D doesn't use colour to create the effect, as you will notice in cinemas - the glasses have clear lenses.

Next time I have one of my colour blind friends over, I will give it a test on them if you like - but as explained above, the technique for doing 3d doesnt require colour at all, so it will be the same as how you see it now... but in 3d!
