Combi microwaves - who uses them?

I'm tucking in to some reheated donner meat and chips from lunch and, man, its even better!

Reheated with convection (220°) + micro (low) for 5 mins.

Thats my main go to, works for Sunday roasts to.. pretty much anything. Pizzas get the grill and micro for that extra crispy and melty topping.


I don't think I've ever seen anyone use these functions on their microwave. They're great!
 
@arknor that combi you have looks like a beast! 240°? Madness!

I've got a panny which goes to 220° max, serves me well but would be nice to go that little higher for crisping samosas and things.

I've had my Panasonic since I got my first house in 2012, still going strong although the internal light went (I just need to replace the bulb).

My dad had a combi Panasonic when I was growing up, lasted for as long as I remember and he decided to replace it with the same model as my one about the same time yet his original one still functioned, these things last!



@firstborn try this next time you're reheating a pizza slice:
Press <combination> (turns it into combi mode)
Press <grill> (turns grill on to medium)
Press <micro> x2 (turns microwave on to low)
Input time (3-4 mins or so depending on how much pizza)
