Is this possible under XP and Vista without making them unreadable between OS's?

Several physical volumes but I'd like to have them as one under My Computer, but without Raiding them. Possible?

raid is the only option. you can do software raid through windows if you don't have the hardware. you'd have to read up about that though, i've never done it before. :p

Is'nt it called RAID-JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Discs) where it combines many various sized (and connections - ATA/SATA) into one resulting Drive... There's no error correction though!!...

Not sure it can be done software-raid though!... I think you need an Hardware-raid (motherboard or controller) that supports JBOD..

A few options:

1. Use dynamic disks ( Vista Biz & Ult only; incompatible with XP and vice versa )
2. Use Linux and LVM.
3.Sell them and use the money to buy a single, massive one. :p
