I have around 5 images of a bird diving, how do I go about combining them into a single image - bear in mind im someone who is not very into his post processing.

I have lightroom and photoshop.

As in one image with the bird at each stage stage of the dive, so it looks like 5 birds?
If that is the case then a simple stack, align and mask in photoshop/affinity photo should do the trick.

If you don't have that software then I'm afraid I'm out of options.

I have photoshop, lightroom.

Will search for stacking Images and see where that leads me.

Thanks

It’s been a while since I used photoshop (I run Affinity Photo now) but it should be in File then add images as stack and the alignment process should be automated.
Then I would just make the top image 50% transparent and use a mask layer to brush in the bird from the image beneath.
Pretty much rinse and repeat until you’re through all 5.
