im gonna pair the Prolimatech Super Mega
with an Akasa AK-FN059 120mm Viper.

would it smoke H50? and give H70 a run for its money?

I'd rather have the Super Mega with the Viper fan over a H50 or H70 cooler.

I am the product specialist and buyer at OcUK for all cooling things :)

The H50 in push/pull(1x viper , 1x orginal fan) does me good :D Going to be getting a second viper though, Does me proud keeping my i5 760 @ 4.0GHz at 32-34c idle

could you put a fan on each side of the super mega 1 pushing 1 pulling
or would the fans be too close together and distrupt each others airflow?

According to reviews and you certainly can. I'm doing that with my noctua nh-u12p (same basic format as the super mega) and it gets my cpu a couple of degrees cooler.

Ace Modder... regarding the super mega vs h50/70..... Wouldn't the difference between the two be somewhat dependant on the case? Suppose you're using a really small case with relatively poor airflow, a h70 with the radiator mounted externally could well perform better than the big-chunk-of-metal style coolers, because their performance can suffer if you've got poor general air-flow.

the guy who reviewed this though it was copper plated, but he
must have contacted Prolimatech and they said the below:

"After the process of oxidation and baking that gives copper the darker shade so when you scratch the surface with a sharp object or even with a sand paper, the scratched/sanded spot will appear to be brighter (in comparison to the non-scratched area) thus giving the effect of silvery color."

good review showing stock temperatures and an overclocked 920 @ 3.4Ghz
looks a Beast! with 2 fans :)
