who has Nintendogs ?

i was thinking of getting my daughter this seeing as she likes hassling my DS & PSP :D

you reckon a 3 year old could get much from it ?

Probably not really, you have to speak very clearly and in the same tone each time to get the dog to recognise the commands you have taught it, it's rather frustrating sometimes, I know this beacuse erm well I just do :p

Actually thinking about it she could just throw the ball to it and things but as I said it probably won't recognise commands she gives it.

She could 'play' it in the loosest sense of the word and do some basic interaction, but I doubt she would get much out of it.

She is probably more interested in the sounds and lights coming out of the handhelds, rather than what is actually going on.

Yep, gotta agree it was fun for a few days but I'll probably give mine away. Not so much fun when you see past the novelty value. I guess it'd keep a 3 year old occupied for a while though. Might be fun to play with later on when she's learns to speak and things :)

My lil sis had it. Occupied her completely for about 2 weeks. Never sees the liught of day now, i think its lifespans pretty limited, its better if you know other people with it so they can interact through the wireless feature.
