I’m looking at a new gaming set up and planned on a good 2k monitor. Iv since been lurking around Reddit gaming set ups and nearly every one has 2/3+ monitors for gaming ? What are they all used for? They all have a monitor to the side in the vertical position or just monitors above and to the side of a central one .

It’s completely thrown me off, is high quality pc gaming now done over multiple screens ?

Yep, it's one of the reasons I never bought a PS5.

Sony in their stubbornness, refuse to support 21:9 resolutions, so a no buy for me.

And this is from someone who bought a PS1/2/4.
My ps5 will stay firmly in my living room on my LG oled my pc is solely for gaming but my budget is only going to stretch to 3060ti level cards or at least that’s what I think based on my very limited knowledge and research i have done so far and I assume and ultra wide wouldn’t be supported by that type of card ?
