I am returning to the otherside, I've had a PS3 since day 1 but the temptations for a 360 are too much for me to resist, I've got to get another.

:o

But not sure what games to go for with it.

Help me :D
 
Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed both come out next week. Halo 3, PGR4. Hell there's tons of games out and coming out this month :p

Edit: Looks like Mass Effect is the week after next.
 
Whats out this month?

I'm still deciding what piece of hardware to get, be it Arcade, Pro or Elite.
 
I love both but the fact the games are out a bit sooner, have achievements and the very good live integration give the 360 the edge for me. A fair few quality games out for it now too.

As always any data on failure rates with the 360 is purely speculative and from forums posts and news sites as I don't think MS are likely to release those figures however remember that for the big problem, the 3RLOD, there is now a 3 year MS warranty so you're pretty much covered. Well, until the warranty runs out :D
 
But has anyone suffered from 3RLOD with the Elite/Arcade/Halo3 editions?

3 years is partly the reason for my return, my last stopped reading discs.
 
I have a PS3 and 360 and tbh the 360 wins hands down as a gamers console because of Live, Acheivements and the share amount of quality games that are released. I do like my PS3 but i see it more as a quality DVD player and Sony exclusive (Wipeout) games player.

I've had an elite since launch day and it's still going strong :) I've not heard of any of my mates elites breaking down either. The elite is my 3rd 360 as i've had 2 premiums that RROD before, and thanks to DRM i lost Arcade games i paid for (still angry) :(

how come you lost the arcade games? can't you transfer them between 360's?
