If all goes to plan and city link dont mess up again I should get the bits and bobs throught for my new PC today, namely an E6750, 2GB of RAM and the usual bits and bobs. This will replace a sempron 3700, so there will be a slight increase in power ;)

By the end of the week (if all goes to plan) this will be overclocked (but not to a suicide level) and then...searching fo ET.

Because of that, positions 107 to 90, consider yourselves parped. More individually, I've been running neck and neck with havoc, so this should finish him off, and Amp34 (who stomped me last summer and I never forgot the humiliation of his boot in my head), you need to increse power, or I'll get you soon as well...

Now, if I can just find out which planet my sister came from, so I can send her back...

Forget SETI join Team 10 & fold!
Enjoy the power of yr new toy.

Sorry, it's not a 3700+, it's a 3100+ so even more of a junp in powah, and I knew somebody would try to pimp me, but Ive been SETI'ing since Jan '99 when 1 unit on a cyrix 300 used to take about 200 computing hours, and Im not changing now :D

As for borging the borg  , give me half a chance and I will.

The PC is now downstairs in the case ready for booting, so I need to pull out this PC to put the new baybee in it's place, so I'll speak to you soon with full specs...

Did Vista not auto-detect the wifi card? I didn't need any drivers for mine. (Vista 32bit though...)

Nice spec btw. :)

It has detected it now, but needed drivers from the internet, and how do you connect to the internet when the wi-fi card doesn't work

Yeah, I think its a great spec, and as for 2 motherboards I rearranged the items to make it easier to read, but I must have left the second motherboard in the list :o

Hmm, mine just worked off the bat. I suppose its Karma as I've tried everything short of VooDoo to get it to work in Linux. :(

At least you can hook it up with the ethernet for 10 minutes until the drivers are installed then you'll be wire free. :)

How have you found getting the PSU connect to evrything in this case? I was thinking of buying one. Did you need extension cables? What are yr temps like?

For one last time - forget SETI you'll feel better by folding:)

The case is very good for temps - don't have any to hand but with the cooler I have (see spec) there is a lovely flow through the case as well as keeping the PSU + HDD seperate.

No need for extensions with my PSU, however the cables supplied were definately not short (not too long, but generous).

The biggest problem I had is that you are supposed to place the cables behind the motherboard mounting plate (see the video on the antec p182 page for more info on this. It's a good idea as it helps air flow). This meant that when I replaced the side plate on that side, it was a sod to fit because the cables pushed the plate out and it has a very slight bow in it (where it is placed nobody can see it, so I dont care). Overall, a grade C- for ease of build, but a grade A- for the end product with that case.

As for folding, for one last time, 'go forth and multiply' (that's one way of swearing without upsetting a mod or needing ***'s

Post some times for the completed WU's.

I've upped the FSB to 350MHz, and currently the units I am getting are taking about 1 hour 10 each and worth about 50 points. That means a lurvely 2000ppd or so :D

At least you can use your calculator now the sun is out, just don't try to borg it as I think the ppd will be a little dissapointing :p
