COMING TO END OF RIDDICK WHAT NEXT

HI ALL

i decided to have a break from my 1200 online games of pro evo5 lol and see what else was out there like the shooter type games

picked up riddick cheap and to say i am loving this game is an understatement great gfx and gameplay with nice cutscenes usually i skip these


but alas i am coming to the end of it and want to try other games like this one

have played the call of dutys

something like riddick would do me fine but i aint been involved in the gaming scenen much latley


what you suggest
 
I'm having a blast on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines at the moment. It's built on the Source engine, so you know it's pretty, and it has a lot of decent action/story in it.

The cutscenes are great too, not to mention the dialogue that goes from absurdly funny to sickeningly vulgar in 0.4 seconds. :)
 
TBH i d/l the demo of prey and didnt like it was to dark and doom like

been reading up on this vampire game seems ok

what are the half life games like any good
 
Definately have a go at getting Half-Life. Try getting Half-Life 2: Game of the Year from the shops or the Source Complete Pack from the Steam system, as you can then play the original Half-Life in the Source engine. A bit dated now, but it's still one of the best games around.

You can make your own Source complete pack up of:
Half-Life 2: Game of the Year Retail
Day of Defeat: Source Retail
Half-Life 2: Episode One Retail

But that'll come to excess of £42, looking at the cheapest prices for each game.

HL Source is rubbish though. Waiting for the mod thats been made, looks a lot closer to the original imo.

If you've not played Half-Life 1, then it's a better option than the rather dated Half-Life engine, as there still are some nice added effects to Half-Life: Source and also especially if it comes with Half-Life: Source.

You mean Black Mesa: Source, the mod that'll probably be out within a year or two. It does look fantastic, but It's a long wait. Don't know how you say it looks closer to the original, it looks totally different and 10 times better. Half-Life: Source looks almost exactly like Half-Life did, just with added 3D backgrounds in parts and tiny amounts of physics and DX9 stuff.

thats it nothing to play now :(

cmon guys

quite like games like baldurs gate or decent war games single player but not with the crappy veiw you get on medal of honours lol

or most fps but not fear or doom3
