Generals was a bit limiting with just the three basic sides, ZH really made it worth playing.
I remember the first time me and my two flatmates played our first mutiplayer game of ZH(free for all). We had set Superweapons to unlimited (lol!) and money to max. Now bear in mind none of us had played multiplayer , just single player, so we had no idea what to expect and what tactics to deploy. Two of us were stealth gen, one infantry gen. Now we started building up our bases and bascially spammed our bases with superweapons, so we were all nuking and SCUDing each other to hell. Suffice to say, there was a big list of superweapon timers on the screen, as we each had about 10 superweapons. I got totally raped and was down to bare minimum of units but I had some stealth (GPSed) units to rebuild my base. The other two left me alone whilst they duked it out by themselves constantly superweaponing each others superweapons. I slowly built up my cashflow with black markets and soon I had built up a lot of cash. Sneakily I secretly set 6 SCUD storms building using my workers. My other two mates were too busy scrapping they didnt notice and thought I was dead in the water. Little did they know...
As soon as my SCUDs finished I quickly stealthed them all but obviously 6 new Timers appeared on my enemies screens - they both promptly rolled through my base again except this time they made sure to finish me off

, shoulda seen the looks on their faces when my superweapons popped up lol, woulda been an awesome comeback.
On another note, Super Black Lotus is bloody amazing, she can take a Command HQ in about 5 seconds, my mates got so paranoid they had detector units everywhere, after I had a few fun games humiliating them , mwhahaha
Another good tactic is to use about 10 GLA Battle buses and fill them all with rocket men, they are near invincible and once they get blown up once , they have a second life as a bunker! Can also fill Assualt Helix helicopters with Rocket men for flying death to all as well.
Long post i know but effin loved that game!
