I'd be up for a causal game once in a while.
The only 2 things I really detest about it are:
If I use a FoV fix ( so I can zoom out more, it's only editing a number in a .ini or so) it will conflict with others saying different version.
And:
It's not 100% stable, I loved playing 2v6 brutal ai's with a mate, the game has a tenancy to crash late game ( especially on large and/or custom maps), or constantly freeze/ judder when the AI fails with it's pathfinding ( also on stock maps, which is a programming fail).
I'm rubbish vs actual people though, always get my *** kicked online.
But I would be up for a game or 2 once per week or so...
Cool dude, just tell me when you're ready, I should be free this evening.
Easier if you add me on msn ( see left or trust) or xfire or steam ( snovvdog).
If your using TFD install this on top of your installation : http://forums.gamesector.net/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=24Bah! Still couldn't get it to work last night, think I may try re-installing into the non x64 program files folder, see if that makes it work. Really want to play it!!
http://forums.commandandconquer.com/jforum/posts/list/31109.page Try thatI think I just cracked it boys and girls.
I installed it onto my brothers W7 rig and it worked just fine. So I've taken a copy of all his files and brought them over. I noticed that my Documents folder was different to his - was missing the options.ini file, however his only had 2 small lines.
Anyways, heres how to fix.
First, Open up your Generals or Zero hour folder in My Documents. Delete everything in there.
then make a Maps folder.
Then, make a text/notepad document and name it "Options.ini"
Open it up and input the following:
IdealStaticGameLOD = Low
StaticGameLOD = Low
I'd be up for this. I have both the normal version and TFD version running fine on my 32 bit Win 7 install.
