Command and Conquer Ultimate Edition - anyone use mods?

Hi guys

I've recently purchased C&C Ultimate on Origin and so far I've been having a blast through Red Alert 2 and the addon.

I would like to up the resolution and change the game speed if possible (slow it down as it's running about 1.5x).

There are loads of mods out there but they seem to be for the First Decade boxset and not the Origin version.

Has anyone tried mods for the Origin version? Did it work and are you able to mod Origin games without breaking some obscure T&C that can get you banned?

I would love to be able to help you bud but after i formatted and reinstalled, the games i tried from my ultimate edition would no longer even load through origin, i just got a quick black splash box then nothing. After hours going through EA technical help i still have no idea why they used to work but now do not.

Yikes! Have you asked in the EA community forums? Someone on here pointed me to those a few days ago, I didn't realise they existed before!

Do you use multiple monitors ? and/or any extra monitor/windowing software.
I had the same problem with cnc4 until i worked out it just couldnt cope with more than one active monitor. Once i disabled the extra one(s) it worked fine.

It was still poo though.

No bud just the one monitor. Funny thing is they all worked perfectly before i formatted and reinstalled but not the ones i tried afterwards. I actually downloaded a version of RA3 just to try it and to my disbelief that version worked perfectly:O

And yep i troweled the internet for many many hours tring to find a solution and although i tried every trick i came across nothing worked so i just gave up in the end.
