My Vostro's DVD drive is not opening for some bizaare reason..is there a Vista command to open it? 
Command to eject drive?

Okay well i think there's something wrong as it isn't recognised in My Computer and the light isn't on. 
I see no icon anywhere.

It's a laptop. Sorry, should have been more precise but i didn't think i would have needed to be...looking at the problem again, think it's more serious than i thought.
I just tried to download and install a DVD driver from Dell and it said "Target could not be found" after i double clicked the driver application.
Not in Device Manager either...argh.

I'm not entirely sure if i can do that...i may push it around a bit but don't want to damage it too much.
Guess i'll be on the phone to Dell tomorrow....
Just played around a bit and it seems lose...or at least not as sturdy as it once was? And thinking about it, i can't remember when i last saw the drive in My Computer at all.
Do you think Dell will take me laptop away or could a bloke fix it for me here and now?
