Was somewhat disappointed with the recent review of the new P35 based P5k in Custom PC recently. Was therefore wondering what peoples views are on these 2 boards. I assume the P5K is more future proof but in terms of stock performance and overclocked potential what are you guys leaning towards at present.
Won't be making the purchase until around September when I put my new build together (likely based on one of these 2 boards and my current E6700 cpu) but would welcome informed comments and also any heads up on potential blockbusters hitting our shelves between now and September which could replace the idea of buying one of these 2 boards.
Should add, not really interested in SLI potential as current GFX is 8800 GTX and monitor only 20 inch.
