Hey guys what do you think of my simply designed logo?

logo.png

I want this to show up on my videos I create but wanted to make sure it is appropriate first?

I like it. It'd work well in digital and print (minus the drop shadow).

Although isn't there a typo? Either you're missing an 'l' or you added an 'a' :D

Is there a reason to call it occaisional? "every occasion videos" sounds clearer. Or even "occaisional videos" that just sounds like you only do vids sometimes though, so scratch the latter.
Yeah logo is nice b.t.w. :)

glad this was pointed out. occasional is a completely different word to occasion. if you want for occasional because ocassion domain was taken or something then you should find a different name.

I agree. Not trying to bash you or anything but occasional doesn't really seem to make sense to me. Every Occasion Videos does seem to fit a bit better in my opinion. But that's all it is, an opinion. :)

lol!!! :D

But yes, apart from that, the logo is a nice design. :)

Well I really wanted to set up a filming site and love filming weddings, birthdays, landscapes, etc... So at the time it was rather catchy so I said why not and used it.

so I said why not and used it.

i agree the name 'every occasion(al) videos' sounds decent, but it doesn't make sense. you may have well said 'every osterich with his head in the sand videos'. neither are relevent to what you do, but at least mine doesn't make you sound un-educated but instead just a little whacky.

it's a simple mistake to make that has thankfully been pointed out nice and early.

umm ok bit late now

Why so? and even if you've started advertising your business there's no reason why you cannot rename it. Look at Aviva for an example. Lots of companies change their names, I think the difference is though you NEED to re-think your name because as said above it doesn't really make sense. ;)
