Hey guys,

Just finished publishing this site for the family business, any comments/tips/constructive criticism on the design & build would be hugely appreciated!

Only looked at the homepage but any text that's embedded in an image isn't going to be seen by search engines so your site probably won't index very well. In fact as far as a search engine is concerned there's virtually zero text on that page, pretty much just an address. It's not only bad for SEO but it could also hinder how it displays on different devices.

So the first job I'd look at is changing the embedded text to be markup. Have a look at web fonts using CSS if you need to keep that particular font (assuming it's available to licence as a web font).

For what it's worth I like it. Images are a little slow on my connection but they can be optimised.

If I were you, under 'local attractions', I would pimp the Olympics.
