Comments On Console Games & Hardware's State

This section of the forum has definately gone downhill lately imo. What happened to the guy who was a made a mod for consoles? Can't remember his name right now!

Nokkon would get my vote too.

I think a lot of the tension is created by gamercards and psn ids in people's sigs, in my lurking days I've seen threads where someone has said pretty much the same as a previous poster but has been confronted seemingly because of their sig. Perhaps if everyone to remove their gamercard/info it would help ease the situation?

I hate religion and everyone is entitled to their opinions. I'm just very vocal about mine, but not once have I ever said anyone was wrong :).
As for only backing up Xbox360 users, quite ridiculous as I'd class many PS3 owners here as some very good forum friends and I'm sure they all know who they are.

I'll take mine off if need be. I think we need Kreee + Wyrdo back, what happened to Suaaarve too? When I first started posting here, it was the big gamerscore pro's who owned the place and that's how I liked it tbh.

Honestly I have lost a lot of interest reading this section of the forum, mostly because of the arguments.

I have actually RTM'ed quite a few posts (some even containing swearing) but sometimes nothing is done. I don't particulaly blame the mods you understand, because they are not being paid to police this forum, and there are a lot of threads/posts being created every minute.

I would argue that seperating the PC and Console section did help a lot of the "HAHAHA! my pc has AF console noob" and the "Yeah, but you have to upgrade every week because quake 1 million is out" retorts (ok - I might be going a little over the top there :p)

Seriously though - it does alarm me how much hate people have for certain consoles - it isn't even helpful criticism either. Indeed rather than those that know nothing about the other console it will instead be:

Poster "what are good games to buy with my PS3 I will be getting for my birthday?"

Reply "well, go look at the latest film releases instead - because blu rays is all the PS3 is good for"

OR

"What are good things to get with the 360?"

Reply: "as much insurance as you can get, and a liquid cooling system"

It becomes tiring truthfully, and it becomes alarming to me when people can't admit a flaw in the system they own. (for the record, I own a gaming PC, Xbox 360 and a PS3).

It annoys me that we've got to the stage where we have to state what systems we have to avoid abuse. I own a 360 but it doesn't mean I can't make balanced comments on the PS3, similarly owning all 3 systems doesn't make someone automatically unbiased.

Agreed, People seem to have to now show some sort of neutral stand point inorder to avoid the trolls and fanboys.

I only own a 360, But I love the Ps3 to pieces. And I'm not a big fan of the Wii.

But because I am no fan of the Wii, I dont think I've ever posted in a Wii thread lol, Other than mario galaxies, But thats because it's awesome :p

I think the way you come across its like...everyone is entitled to their opinion BUT your opinion is the right one Nokkon :p


and i doubt i'll ever agree with Nokkon on Uncharted...just as long as he knows I'm right and he is wrong!
(im kidding of course everyone is an individual and has their own opinion and view on a game:D)

i probably said pes6 was good on pc or something and you took offence at it lol

i dont mind nokkon his opinions are off course correct to him and he does not resort to name calling or baiting
