Hi,

I wonder if you've got any ideas on the balance of the following system, before I buy. I've used the ForceBox Gamer Plus on overclockers and then upgraded some things:

Intel Core i5 4670 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Quad Core
Intel H81 Chipset
450W PSU
BitFenix Phenom MATX Cube Case
Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic
TeamGroup Vulcan GOLD 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache
MSI Geforce GTX 770 Gaming Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Asus VE247H 24" Widescreen LED Monitor

I was wondering about no optical drive, but I think I can install an OS from my external USB DVD drive if I need to. I was also wondering about only having one expansion slot on the motherboard, but I can't imagine what I'd need expansion slots for really.

It's been 10 years since I bought a computer, so I won't be building my own this time as everything is a bit new!

many thanks,
Paul

Including the monitor, that comes out at £985. I'm already a bit over budget, and I don't want to go much higher. I would go for the faster RAM, but it's not an option on the page I'm looking at.

This is a (to me) comparable system using the Intel Haswell Midi Tower Gaming PC Configurator:

Intel Core i5 4690K 3.5GHz Devils Canyon Quad Core Processor
MSI Z97-G43 (Socket 1150) ATX Motherboard
TeamGroup Vulcan Red 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2133MHz Dual Channel
MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming Edition 2048MB GDDR5
Samsung 840 Evo Series 250GB Solid State Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive
OcUK 24x DVD+RW ReWriter (Black)
Super Flower Golden Green 550W 80+ Gold PSU
Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 Bit
Asus VE247H 24" Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor

That's £1309, over £300 more than the other one. Am I missing something? (The first price included Windows too).
