Has anyone bought one of these?

Titan Vantage Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz SILENT DDR2 System

..it's in the "Gamer" section of OCUK's systems, right at the bottom. I am after a system that can play modern games at decent settings, but probably only up to about 1280x1024 - will this do it?

Cheers

I haven't bought one but given the specifications it is probably in the low-mid range for gaming systems that are built new now. It will partly depend on how you define decent settings but that should be capable of playing most modern games acceptably.

If you are willing to build it yourself then this has a far better graphics card, a more powerful PSU with the case and offers a fair bit of overclocking potential. :)

Phoen1x I'd follow semi-pro waster's advice building your own system, you'll get better value for money + the added satisfaction of doing it yourself. Thats also quite a nice spec there.

That really is a much better spec isn't it...

I haven't built a machine for about 5 years, but that much of a hike over the pre-made system is certainly worth digging out the anti static wristband for :)
