Comments please, wet village

Heres is a nice little picture I took recently, it's not in the UK. I'll tell you all later where it is though.

The camera used was a Canon Powershot s2 IS with Canon lens hood\adapter, Can't remember the settigns used right now.

I will take a guess that it is in Peru somewhere.

It is a shame the "full size" is so small

Its hard to make out any detail.

I like the reflections and the bottom left corner where the road surface meets the water

Give it another try and guess, although you were pretty darn close.

2592x1944 - not that small!

mctiny - I quite like your photo, the colours are nice in the bottom right. Hope you don't mind, but I've had a play with it. Didn't do too much, just some levels adjustment, saturation adjusted (to remove chromatic aberration) and some burning of the sky to bring out some detail.

Picture is too busy for my liking. It works as a photo for those who have been there and have memories of the location but as an image it is lacking a specific subject. Needs something more like this:

I have been there and the picture is just a reminder for me, but you have an interesting though about it.

P.s it`s a place called Parati in Brasil, for those who would like to know.
