Comming Through

Hmmmmmmm ok. I may have to rethink about what I want to get then :) Thanks for the heads up on the P5K-E not having RAID on btw, I didn't notice it and that was in my spec :/

Nooooooooooo.

We need some action in here tonight to compensate for a certain stat-master going AWOL this freezing Thursday night.

Sorry :p

The evening went a bit like this.... Home from work late, quick bit of Ogame, fish supper, bit of TV, start news, get concerning e-mail about dad's PC, ring dad, chat to dad, chat to mum, spot the sky is clear tonight for the first time all week, play with new telescope, go back to news, go back to telescope, talk about telescopes, find Virtual Earth beta on live maps, play with virtual earth, notice time, get on with news, get startled phone call from dad about virus alert, fob off worried dad (turned out to be a false positive anyway), finish news!

It's at times like this I wish I wasn't 1/2 Magpie, that and my lack of any kind of multi-tasking ability is a recipe for late nights :o :D

Off topic, but what telescope do you have rich?

Officially it's the girlfriend's - calls itself a short tube newtonian equatorial reflector telescope, 150mm dia with 750mm & 1400mm focus. Seems to work alright though the previous owner was a bit heavy haded with the tripod and I spent most of the first evening after we got it suring the thing up so it'd stay still enough to use. :o

It's all Greek to me, though we did get a pretty good look at the moon earlier :)

edit: I foresee something a lot more expensive and named on the horizon, this will do fine for the time being though I hope :o

I could go into some depth about telescopes... but I'll just say that it sounds okay, and that I am suitably jealous :p

Aaaand back on topic - stomp them slackers pneumonic! I recognise some names in that list too - I definitely recognise Haly, though I don't think she crunches any more :(

yeah I havent found anyone on the list that I see post in here on a regular basis.. although I do believe are a couple of people in the 50's that will need to be watching out :)
