Not sure how I feel about this either, I kind of lost interest a while ago but still watched it as I wanted to know what happened. I wasn't too bothered when it was cancelled but I will check this out.

It's a pity Donald Glovers not in it.

I think I missed Chevy Chase more, he was great. Still, last season was alright, much better than season 4 without Dan Harmon writing for it.

Edit: No more Yvette Nicole Brown or the Breaking Bad guy either, it seems.

Yeah it was pretty terrible, its reached the point where they are trying to be humorous or funny but failing quite bad.

Alison brie is still hot in the show though but under used.

With 3 main cast members gone it really sealed its death also.

Pretty disappointed, but I wasn't expecting it to be amazing. I'll probably keep watching it for the sake of it.

I miss Troy.

They were awful, honestly I hated Shirley, for every funny thing she said the sweet cutsy mum voice made me want to kill her. 1% of her time on screen was worth having her around, the rest wasn't.

Pierce was a brilliant character, but things happen, time moves on. HIckey was pretty boring but not at all bad.

Characters being gone didn't ruin the show, horrific writing did. Early in the series there was occasional jokes about the show, but it was one character believing his life was a show, the rest thinking he was nuts. That was fine, now every other episode they talk about the show, the potential film, etc. That they bang on about it makes it not at all funny or interesting. The new woman had nothing to her character and had Abed sitting at a laptop sending e-mails... how funny.

The main thing is it just wasn't funny. It lost it's way entirely, Jeff the teacher... with almost zero stories involving him teaching, other people all doing essentially boring things. At least last year had funny bits even if it wasn't up to the first few years standard, this fell way short of even last years level. There were about 4-5 actually good lines across both longer than usual episodes.

Mucho disappointed :(

Just watched the latest 2 episodes. I agree it's a bit of a shadow of its former self. There were a couple of genuine LOL moments though, Britta dissapearing around the corner on the kids Green Machine bike and Dean Pelton in the VR helmet was quite funny :)

How much weight has Shirley lost though!?!? She's half the woman she was.
