Commute Car has some damage - Not sure if rust or just discolouration

Hi

Had a scrape in my commute car about 3/4 years ago, just ignored it as it would cost more than the car to fix. It is a Ford Mondeo, around 170k miles.

The scrape has turned a bit brown, and not sure if I should be concerned, or need to do anything. It has passed the MOTs with usual wear and tear and always kept the servicing up to date, always been told it is mechanically sound.

We’re it a high end Merc, BMW or say Porsche then sure, I’d worry about it and be looking into getting it sorted out.

You’ve inadvertently answered your own question - it’s a 170K Ford Mondeo…..

If you're worried about it, clean it up with some wet & dry and paint over it - it won't necessarily look pretty, but I'm guessing that's not too much of a concern :p
