I've recently changed my firewall to Comodo and now it seems that my torrent port is not forwarded correctly. I have allowed every party of utorrent to connect to the internet through Comodo and the port is forwarded on my router so I'm not sure why it's blocking this port. Has anyone else had this problem before and/or know how to rectify it?

Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem with PC-cillin, make sure you're allowing the actual port through the whole firewall as well as through the program.

Also, make sure Windows Firewall hasn't turned itself on.

have you tried port scanning yourself to see what ports are open

use nmap

and dont forget to scan your external address not local.

I know that the port isn't forwarded as there is an option to check within utorrent. I'm unsure how to forward a single port in Comodo, I'll have a bit of a poke around.

Thanks for the replies :)

Also, try these settings:

IIRC I had to untick uPNP port mapping for mine to work.

After further investigation it seems to be working now I've added that network monitor rule (I had peer guardian 2 running). Thanks a lot for the help.
