Hi All...

I've been using Zone Alarm Pro for ages now and I'm getting sick of the 07 version causing me nothing but problems.:(
I've seen a few reviews Comodo and it seems ok. I would like to know some of your views on Comodo please and any other software firewall suggestions any of you can think of.
I'm still using Windows XP if this helps.

Brilliant software.

I have it on all my pcs except my wireless ones as it plays up on wireless pcs i find.

On pcs that are wired to the router/modem it is brilliant.

I switched to Comodo a good few months ago after using that godawful Za for years, its brilliant, no problems at all with it, wish id discovered it sooner as Za was a nightmare, absolute crap that caused me no end of problems, switch to Comodo, glad i did.

I used the Comodo firewall for a time (along with a free antivirus), and it worked fine, encountered no problems at all...:)

I've been running Comodo for a while on a number of PC's with different Anti-virus programs and have had no problems . Would recommend it .

ZA a nightmare?

I cant understand how anyone has problems with it, its a rather simple program to use and doesn't require you to do anything bar press yes or no a few times.

Has anyone had any problems running Comodo Firewall Pro and Kaspersky together???
When trying to install Kaspersky last night I got a message telling me to uninstall Comodo and that the two would not run together so I did:(. Then I reinstalled Comodo thinking that I would probably get a BSOD or something. But the install seems to have worked.
Anyone had this or any problems with the two???

Is there any other good secure firewalls that anyone can think of.
They don't have to be free...
Sunbelt Kerio. You get a 30 day trial of it in its Pro mode. After 30 days it just reverts to its normal state. You'll probably not need the Pro features but if you do then its only £10 or so for the Pro mode. Deffo worth it imho.

That i didn't have a problem with, it was the restarting of my PC at random times, like when in the middle of a game or something, or when it BSOD and restarted my PC when trying to watch online videos everytime, so i could never watch any, all due to that (cant remember its name now as it was so long ago) of Za, and web pages not displaying correctly, those were the problems i had. :)

There is a way to install both Kaspersky and Comodo . I had the same problem you are describing. I think you need to uninstall Kaspersky>install comodo>then install kaspersky again.
