Comodo Firewall

Hi there,

I have just set this up and the intrusions are going off the roof.

Is this a genuine hack or is it that i have it setup wrong?

That looks fine to me, it will constantly block intrusions, you'll get thousands blocked every day.

Yeah but what are they?

System Idle Process accessing the internet? Hacker?

On this note - does anyone have a good tutorial for setting up the firewall?

Im on version 2.4, it didn't need any setting up, i just installed it, added Utorrent so it was allowed through, and clicked Allow on all those boxes that appeared, and ticked dont ask me again for the likes of FF, Steam, MSN etc... that were asking for access.

I have to say I might go back to 2.4. Comodo v3 is just giving me too much hassle. As LoadsaMoney says I can install 2.4 and leave it.

I am on Vista - last time i checked 2.4 wasn't supported on vista.

You would be better off in going to the support forums for Comodo, they are an excellent source of knowledge.

As I am behind a router, which has its own NAT / Firewall I do not get any of those type of reports, either tha tor I do not look for them.

AFAIK (which isn't very much) those are just innocuous none important ping type things, then again go to the forum and ask there to be sure.

You could always try and read the help that is within the application, specifically....

TCP Flood / UDP Flood / ICMP Flood section.
