Comp shutting down randomly

Hi. I have just installed a new ATI 5850, and my comp has randomly shut down 3 times now. Any idea why this is?

My system specs are in sig.

Graphic temps = 40 degrees. It shut down first of all when i removed USB....Next time it shut down was when i turned power on the speakers. I upgraded from a 4850.

I think the 5850 is faulty...My 4850 is working fine

It's very odd. It just did it again when i removed the keyboard usb :S

It was with the 5850...I should put the 4850 back in and remove the USB a few times, see if it happens.

Shame because it's working atm, and BC2 is amazing with it

I just know it will shut down in then ext 30 mins.

It's been on for a good 45 mins now and now shut down. When i put the 5850 in i didn't uninstall the 4850 drivers at all. I then put the 4850 back in, reinstalled it's drivers, and put the 5850 back in...No problems bar the usb incident. Could this of possibly caused the comp shutting down?

Nope. Just turned my pc on, got no picture. Re tried, it booted...7 secs and it shuts down. Doesn't do it on my 4850
