been having some problems for about a week now with new build, everthing wired in, comp will start and fans come on, as well as lights on motherboard, after about 1 min lights on motherboard go off and no display on screen

any help appreciated, current build is

Krypton Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.00GHz Overclocked Bundle
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
Gainward GeForce GTX 480 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Antec 902 Nine Hundred Two Ultimate Gaming Case
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w Silent SLI Certified Modular Power Supply
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB
 
Is all the power connectors connected correctly including the 8 pin for cpu power.

Memory in the correct slots.
 
yeh tried ram in both sets of slots - same things happens, everything connected, no screen image at all pc stays on lights on motherboard still go off after about 1 min
 
try installing the bare minimum, 1 stick of ram, video card and your hard drive. Then reset the bios (either the jumper or remove the power cable and bios battery from PC for around 20 mins) Then try again
 
Sorry to ask this again, can you confirm the 8 pin power connector by the cpu socket is connected.
 
Cheers, One thing that does spring to mind is do a CMOS reset, this will reset the overclock but hopefully Ocuk will of save the profile in the BIOS which you can load.
 
yeh tried cmos reset but it didnt do anything, origninally thought it was a prob with motherboard so sent it back, but was returned as tested fine with overclockers, still having same problems when put together here though starting to get frustrating lol
 
Is it possible to post some internal pics of your setup, alternate can you test the motherboard external to the case on a table with the items connected.
