Comp wont turn on

When I press the power button all I got is a little red light come on for less then a second nothing else happens any ideas?

So you don't hear it startup?

Press button or nothing or press button and it starts.. then stops?

Changed anything recently?

No I dont hear anything and only the red light appears when the power button is pressed and no I havent changed anything.

That's what I'm thinking - try resetting the cmos, by moving the cmos jumper over for 6 seconds, then putting it back.

And what does it look like im new to computers?
