Compact? around £250

Hi guys

I'm looking to get a decent-ish compact camera, mainly for car photography. I usually just carry my S7 around but I'd like to have something that's -;

Fast to capture
good auto mode
good/quick focus
can deal with sunny conditions well.
small/has a good battery life(think 3-4 hours of shooting)

anything around that price that I should consider? thanks

New RX100 mk1, or used/refurbed RX100 mk2

Fits in your pocket, takes stunning pictures, battery rated for 330/350 shots

The auto mode is great - it'll even combine multiple shots to reduce noise in low-light scenarios.

Yes, RX100. I got mine for £250 a few years back. Brilliant camera, always got mine on me when I'm on holiday. Fits in my jean/short pocket fine.

Yep RX100 is hard to beat for size/performance. Still use my mk1 a lot even though i have its big brother the A7R.

You can also get micro 4/3 system for around £50 more - a Panasonic GF7 or GM1 with the 12-32mm lens,which is around 24-64mm in 35mm equivalent terms.
