Compact camera for a fishing trip... <£100

Hey guys,

As above, I'm after a point and click compact for an upcoming trip to France where my mate and I will hopefully be into some big carp

We both have fairly nifty camera phones but I want something dedicated and also something that he doesn't keep locking/getting into the advanced menu etc, I just want something simple.

Not looking to spend more than a ton because I literally will only use it once or twice - second hand is always an option. Any thoughts?

second had that budget should see yo into the canon Powershot S range which are great and a step up from a phone camera.

Something waterproof, like a used gopro could be a shout for fishing. Older ones weren't very good for stills though.
