Compact digital Camera's

Ive been looking around at Compact digital cameras, to take on holiday, and out with friends, as its nice to take photo's and i wanted something nice small and very portable, but not to cheap and wont break in a month of use.

the 2 main camera's ive been looking at are:

does anyone have anything to say about either of these or can reccommend me a better camera for the task i want.

both these camera's are around £175, which is about the price i would be able to afford.

I have a lumix ( a tz3, not the same model you are looking at)

but I think its built really well..feels solid and a quality item and the leica lens seems good quality as well


I dont think either camera would let you down and in the end it may be simply styling that will sway it for you
