Compact Flash SD adapter

Girlfriends Canon A95 uses a Compact flash card and she only has 256MB RAM, however I have around 30GBs worth of microSD cards and micro to SD card adapters sitting around.

Can you get adapters that would allow me to use a microSD card in an SD adapter and to then use that in a camera that uses Compact Flash cards? if you understand what I am asking that is

Would there be any disadvantages to this at all?

I've got SD cards in a CF adapter in my D300. Only real difference seems to be the transfer speed but I don't think that makes too much difference.

so what your saying is you want a Micro SD to CF adaptor?

I don't think you can get direct Micro SD to CF adaptors so you'd have to get a Micro SD to SD adaptor and put that in an SD to CF adaptor.

But it would probably be easier/quicker/and more reliable just to buy a CF card seeing as how they are mere pounds now.

I've already got microSD cards MSD-SD adapters, just wondering if it would still work ok in a SD-CF adapter.

Yo dawg, we heard you like putting micro sd cards in your sd cards, so we put a sd card in yo CF card so you can use yo SD card when you use your micro sd card, yo!
